We are proud that the agency expressed 'broad confidence' in Harper Adams as an effective institution, awarding us 23 points out of 24. Harper Adams University College came fourth in the latest National Student Survey, published in September 2008, which represent the views of 220,000 students from 267 colleges and universities nationwide. This survey aims to help potential students compare institutions and subjects to help them make a more informed choice about where to study.

Harper Adams has an enviable record in employment terms, showing that our graduates are highly sought after in the jobs market. According to the latest Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) employment performance indicator, just 0.9 per cent of 2006/07 graduates were in unemployment six months after graduation. These figures are based on a 99.5 per cent survey return.
Our teaching is backed up by innovative research that puts students at the forefront of the latest developments. The quality of research at Harper Adams was assessed in 2001 and received a 3b rating. This means Harper Adams has achieved "levels of national excellence in more than half of the research activity".
