The Nematology and Entomology Research Group
The Nematology and Entomology Research Group was established at Harper Adams in 1990 by Dr Pat Haydock.
The group consisting of core staff, PhD Students and research assistants, works on aspects of the management of nematode, insect and molluscan pests of field and protected crops in the UK and worldwide. In addition to research the group is active in technology transfer, training & education, consultancy and commercial trials.
The core academic staff in the group are:
- Dr Matthew Back - Lecturer/Researcher in Plant Pathology
- Dr Ivan Grove - Senior Lecturer
- Dr Pat Haydock - Reader in Plant Nematology
