Knowledge Transfer
The Nematology and Entomology Group at Harper Adams is renowned for its applied research. The ability to transfer the results from these programmes to growers and advisors who can use them for the benefit of industry is vital. This is achieved through a range of methods:
- Teaching: undergraduate degree programmes, graduate masters programmes and professional development courses for industry e.g. BASIS and CPA.
- Authoring articles in professional journals and on-line sources e.g. British Potato Council.
- Making presentations at industry meetings.
- Interviews and press releases to the arable farming press.
- Technology Transfer days at Harper Adams.
