What is HEC?
Higher Education Choices (HEC) is unique. Aimed at 16 and 17-year-olds, it takes place at Harper Adams University College in Shropshire, the UK's number one university college for rural/farming, food and animal related courses.
This overnight residential conference takes place from Sunday afternoon (8 July 2012) to Monday afternoon (9 July 2012). This is an ideal opportunity to experience university life, whilst meeting new friends!
If you haven't attended one of our open days before you might like to attend our open day on Sunday 8th July from 9.30am - before HEC starts - where you will be able to attend course talks, speak to academic staff and have campus tours. Please feel free to bring your parents along to the open day but they will need to leave before the fun starts at 4pm!
HEC will be especially interesting for students interested in:
- Agriculture (with specialisms)
- Animal studies
- Business, Marketing and Agri-food
- Countryside/Environmental Management
- Agricultural Engineering/Off Road Vehicle Design
- Food Studies
- Land, Property and Estate Management
- Veterinary Nursing and Practice Management
