Tailored Learning Programmes

Create your own postgraduate degree

It is possible to design a postgraduate course to your own specific needs under the Studies by Negotiation programme. Choosing modules from the postgraduate portfolio, you can create your own postgraduate degree. Study programmes are discussed with the Postgraduate Courses Manager and course proposals individually validated. It is also possible to include a limited number of Independent Study or Work-based Study modules using this option. This approach to postgraduate study is best suited to those who need a particular combination of skills, for instance, expanding their career opportunities within their existing organization.

Part time study

All of our taught postgraduate programmes are available on a part-time basis. Each module is delivered as a week-long intensive block of teaching, allowing students to study alongside work or domestic commitments. The course can be spread over two or three years depending on your individual circumstances, although you may opt to spread your studies over as many as four years.

When do courses start?

The majority of our full-time courses start in late September or early October although those studying REALM part-time have the option to begin at other times of the year.
