Small Scale Hydro Power Workshop

It is a practical day that will include project planning, choice, design and layout, dealing with regulators and the Environment Agency, specifications, economics and consent issues.

If you are a farmer, own a redundant watermill, small/medium sized business, landowner, rural enterprise, voluntary organisation or any type of concern who is considering the possible installation of a hydro power system in the near future then this is the workshop for you.

The Course Leader for the workshop will be Matthew Rhodes, Encraft’s managing director. Encraft are a leading renewable energy consultancy based in the West Midlands with experience of many small hydro power installations around the UK.

The cost of the workshop is £50 as it is presently subsidised training.
