Benefits

Starting a business is one of the most challenging, but rewarding, things you can do. The reason most people never end up doing it is because they think it takes luck, a clever idea or just knowing the right people. That’s not true. It’s about you. Maybe you have a great idea that you just can’t keep a secret anymore. Maybe a colleague has approached you to setup business with them on the back of a contract they’ve just secured. Maybe you just hate your job and wish you were your own boss. The catalyst is different for everyone. Our entrepreneurship course will help give you the tools to create your own successful business.

Course Content

Our course is designed to help you understand the early stages of business development from start-up to the point where significant growth has been achieved. This period is one characterised by a high degree of failure, and is also where the owner has to learn a very wide range of new skills. Through this interactive course we aim to give you the tools to start your own business in the future, or act as advisers to emerging businesses. Successful small businesses reach a point where choices have to be made about whether to grow further, or to consolidate at a size that is comfortable for the owners. This course addresses in detail the common issues faced by owners who wish to grow a business through to medium size and beyond. Many of these issues are predictable, and the solutions to difficulties of growth are easily identifiable, although often hard to achieve.

Course Length: 3 days
