Rugby Club
The Rugby Club consists of three Men’s sides and one Women’s Side all competing in the BUCS league (British Universities & Colleges Sport).
Harper Adams is known for its tough reputation on the field. The rugby sides are feared by much larger universities for being well drilled and extremely hard to beat. Traditionally Harper sides have turned over much larger universities and this season was no exception.
Rugby is one of the best supported of all sports at Harper, Wednesday afternoons usually see large crowds cheering from the sidelines. The Rugby Club is sponsored by the Swan Inn, Wrekin Grain and Kuhn Farm Machinery.
Rugby also has one of the most Active social calendars, from trips to Twickenham to Weekly Sevens tournaments, oh and sometimes a bit of drinking and Wednesday Night fancy dress in the bar.
Harper Adams Rugby Club has something to offer everyone whether it is the more professional player looking to better themselves or a new player looking to learn the game and have a few laughs along the way.
