Harper Adams is in a great location to explore the great outdoors with Snowdonia just two hours from the campus, the Peak District just a short journey up the motorway and with a wide variety of local walks, rivers, trails and crags within an hour's drive.
Whether you are a mountain biker, paddler, climber or even just someone who enjoys a walk in the countryside, there is something for everyone in the country surrounding Harper Adams.
The HOPS (Harper Outdoor Pursuits Society) travel to many different locations across the country and are regularly mountaineering, climbing and kayaking around the country. For more information, see the HOPS page.
There are many great places to explore the countryside, thanks to our location we are in the middle of it and just a short distance away you will find Haughmond Hill, the Wrekin and the Long Mynd. For more information including maps and directions head over to the Shropshire AONB website.
