It is a vigorous and dynamic industry, both nationally and internationally, with new technology and products satisfying ever-increasing consumer demands.
These courses have a core of marketing, business management, agriculture and food disciplines. They develop well-qualified managers with proven business, marketing, communication, technical and IT skills, who are sought after in the Agri-food sector.
Students can specialise in a range of business management modules, applied to the agricultural and food sectors. These include Principles of Marketing, International Marketing, Farm Assurance and Quality, Market Research, Strategic Management
and People Management. Optional modules include Integrated Marketing Communication, Consumer Behaviour and languages. The degree has Chartered Institute of Marketing Certificate and Diploma exemptions. The FdSc has Chartered Institute of Marketing Certificate exemption.
