The Jean Jackson Charitable Trust Scholarship is open to all 1st year FdSc Countryside Management students, or 2nd year BSc Countryside Management, Countryside and Environment Management students, Wildlife Conservation with Natural Resource Management or Geography and Environmental Management students studying at Harper Adams University who either originate from the county of Shropshire or will be undertaking a voluntary placement in Shropshire.
(Please note: the voluntary placement must be unpaid, but can however offer accommodation, with a not for profit organisation/registered Charity).
The successful recipient(s) will receive an award valued at £10,000.
The award will be made payable over the placement year and will be divided equally over the number of months of placement taken.
Should the scholar’s placement terminate for any reason then the scholarship will also cease.
This is a competitive award, evaluated on merit of the submitted application, academic achievements to date and interview.
The decision of the Jean Jackson Charitable Trust Scholarship Panel is FINAL.
