The Paul Wilson Scholarship is open to all 2nd year BSc, Final year BSc or Final Year FdSc students, enrolled on full time undergraduate courses at the University who can demonstrate their passion for the rural economy.
The applicant must be able to clearly demonstrate how they currently are and/or will be contributing to the rural community upon graduation.
Please note: if there are two applicants of equal merit then preference will be given to the candidate who can demonstrate a passion for agronomy.
The successful scholarship recipient will receive an award payable for one year only valued at up to £1,500.
The scholarship will be payable in two equal parts; half to be paid in February 2019 and the remaining balance in May 2019.
This is a competitive award which will be evaluated on the merit of the submitted application, along with academic achievements to date and interview.
The decision of the Paul Wilson Scholarship Panel is FINAL.
