Carbon Metrics Scholarship (includes one year work placement)

The Carbon Metrics Scholarship is open to all 2nd year BSc students studying an Agribusiness, Agriculture, Agriculture with Animal Science, Agriculture with Farm Business Management, Environmental Land Management degree at Harper Adams University who are looking for a career in the Agribusiness sector.

If awarded the successful recipient will receive:

  • A significant contribution towards their education of £2,000
  • Employment with Carbon Metrics during their placement year, with potential for employment to be extended from the statutory minimum to a 15-month period between June 2023 to Sept 2024
  • Subject to a review at the end of placement with Carbon Metrics there may be an opportunity of further funding in the scholar’s final academic year

The award will be paid in two equal parts; half to be paid in February 2023 and the remaining balance in May 2023.

 A condition of your scholarship is that you undertake your placement year with Carbon Metrics. 

This is a competitive award which will be evaluated on merit of the submitted application, academic achievements to date and interview. The decision of the Carbon Metrics Scholarship panel is FINAL.

Deadline for Submission of Application: 12pm Noon Monday 21 November 2022

The Carbon Metrics Scholarship includes a placement, therefore you must submit your application via the Student Dashboard placement pages.  Paper copies will not be accepted.

Please note: you may only apply for a maximum of three placement based scholarships.
