Rabobank Scholarship with one year work placement with Rabobank

Who can apply?

 The Rabobank Scholarship will be awarded to a BSc student at Harper Adams University who will be in their second year of study in 2022-23.  Note:  a placement year with Rabobank must be suitable for your course area. Should you require further clarification please discuss with your Placement Manager.

The Scholarship

The successful scholarship recipient will receive:

  • A total of £18,000 in funding from Rabobank, payable by the University’s Development Trust in years 2 and 4. 
  • Year 3 is the placement year, in which the chosen scholar will undertake paid employment with Rabobank

A condition of your scholarship is that you undertake your placement year with Rabobank

The award will be paid in two equal parts; half to be paid in February 2023 and the remaining balance in May 2023.

This is a competitive award which will be evaluated on merit of the submitted application, academic achievements to date and interview. The decision of the Rabobank  Scholarship panel is FINAL.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to interview with a panel consisting of representatives from Rabobank and Harper Adams University between Wednesday 16 November and Friday 18 November, venue to be confirmed.

The interviewee may be required to prepare a 10 to 15 minute presentation.  If so, candidates will be notified of the topic in advance of the interview.

 Deadline for Submission of Application: 12pm Noon 7 November 2022

The Rabobank Scholarship includes a placement, therefore you must submit your application via the Student Dashboard placement pages.  Paper copies will not be accepted.
