This course will enable graduates to provide both project and technical leadership for the engineering and manufacturing operations, ensuring that business targets for cost, quality and timing are achieved.
The field of engineering management exists to deliver the needs of the customer throughout the full engineering lifecycle of a product, and will include project management; technical oversight, product verification; production planning; production management; product support and, system qualification.
Upon successful completion of this course, you will achieve a PgD Engineering Business Management degree. Following the successful completion of an integrated End Point Assesment and Technical Interview you be deemed to have met the Degree Apprenticeship standard.
This apprenticeship follows the Post Graduate Engineer standard.
The entry requirement for this degree apprenticeship will typically be an engineering degree or a degree apprenticeship in a related discipline. Current employees who already have experience in the industry who wish to enrol will be considered on a case-by-case basis with both qualifications and experience counted as prior learning. Start dates will be in September.
