    Frequently asked questions

    How much does it cost?

    The Harper Adams Experience fee (including all meals, accommodation and entertainment) is £45 per person.

    You will be need to pay at the end of the online application process to book your place.

    What financial help is available?

    If you would love to come to The Harper Adams Experience but the cost is a problem then we may be able to help. Please email events@harper-adams.ac.uk and we will be happy to advise.

    Travelling from Ireland?

    We offer a free coach transfer service to and from Birmingham Airport for visitors travelling to HAE from Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland; please see our recommended flight times for more information.

    What should I bring?

    Please bring the following with you:

    • Overnight bag (toothbrush, toiletries etc)
    • Towel
    • Wellies/boots/waterproofs (for outdoor activities - just in case!)
    • Casual clothes (and some clothes for the Sunday night party)
    • Camera or your mobile to capture those memorable moments!

    Please note: we cannot be held responsible for any lost or damaged belongings - so make sure to look after your possessions.

    What is provided for me?
    • All meals are included
    • Your own room in our halls of residence
    • All bedding (no need to bring any sleeping bags etc)
    • Harper Adams Experience t-shirt
    What if I forget to bring something?

    If you forget your toothbrush etc, the student shop will be open on campus during your visit.

    Should I bring any money with me?

    As your meals and accommodation are included within the fee you don't have to bring any money with you. However, you may want to bring a small amount of money for soft drinks on Sunday evening, or to use in the campus vending machines for snacks and drinks.

    Cash, debit, credit cards are accepted in our catering outlets. There is a cash withdrawal machine in the Welly Inn based on campus (note: there is a charge per withdrawal).

    What happens if you can't make it and need to cancel?

    Cancellation Policy

    In order to receive a full refund for your event fee and transport (if applicable), we will need to receive your cancellation by Friday 5 June 2020 at the latest. Unfortunately, no refunds can be made after this date.

    What if I can't make those dates?

    Unfortunately there is only one Harper Adams Experience per year, but we do have open days and campus tour visits that you are able to attend.
