The campus combines contemporary facilities with a peaceful rural environment and a friendly, welcoming service. Facilities include large lecture theatres, flexible spaces for events, marquees and open green spaces, dining areas, cafes and sports facilities.  

Most study/conference rooms include modern, high-spec audio-visual and multi-media equipment. Video conference facilities are also available, along with free Wi-Fi access across the campus.

We also have a range of specialist facilities that can be hired for your unique event, including IT training rooms with computing and engineering design suites, specialist laboratories, teaching rooms, a commercial farm, postgraduate and professional development centre, covered soil hall, and the Regional Food Academy.

Disabled access

On our compact campus no building is more than a five-minute walk from another. The campus is flat site, allowing visitors to travel around with ease. However, in order to ensure that all guests have a comfortable stay we ask that you advise us whether any of your party will require access requirements such as:

  • Blue badge parking space
  • Loop system
  • Study materials in alternative formats
  • Accessible accommodation

Guests are also asked to disclose whether they feel that in the event of an emergency, assistance will be required to evacuate the building; in these instances a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan will be devised.
