I am Head of the Department of Food Science and Agri-food Supply Chain Management. The department fully spans the food supply chain from farm to fork by virtue of its activities.
The department has three principal functions. The first is to provide high quality education through the provision of undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses as part of Harper Adams’s wider curriculum. The second is to achieve research and scholarly outputs through the activities of the department’s academic staff and the supervision of research degrees at masters and doctoral levels. The third concerns the provision of knowledge transfer to the food industry mainly through the provision of consultancy services, research, education and training.
