  1. 'Survival at Harper' - Introduction for new staff to ICT and the use of Technology in Teaching, Learning and Assessment
  2. Participation in teaching on the PGC Teaching & Supporting Learning in HE at Harper Adams
  3. Participation at Learning and Teaching Forum at Harper Adams
  4. Staff Development sessions:
    • Training sessions for Moodle, Beginners, Improvers, and Advanced level 
    • Training sessions for PebblePad ePortfolio
    • Training sessions for online marking and assessment
    • Training for 'Teaching with Tablet' devices
    • Training in the use of Social Media for teaching and learning
    • The use of AR and VR to support teaching

  • Effective Online Pedagogy - from Instructivism to Social Constructivism and Connectivism
  • Aspects of useful instructional design for online learning
  • Support for online study for PGT students and work-based learners
  • Use of Web2.0 (user generated content, social networking) to enhance the student learning experience
  • Exploring opportunities for mobile learning using smart devices
  • 'Learner Identities' in online and distance learning environments, in particular relating to work-based learners
