Joe Lawson joined Moy Park in 1969 after leaving Harper Adams with a National Diploma in Poultry.
Since 1969 he has held many roles within Moy Park covering a wide range of functions from the day to day management of stock through to Nutrition, feed purchasing and technical/veterinary for all bird types.
Joe also has been involved in setting the ACP standards which in early 2000 became the industry standard adopted by all the major retailers, thereby eliminating the possibility of having many different production standards. This later became recognised as the Red Tractor brand which has now become synonymous with locally produced British chicken.
Throughout the years Joe has continued to support the University and in 2005 was awarded a Fellowship of Harper Adams.
