A proud Lancastrian with a lifelong passion for agriculture, Simon was a student at Harper Adams through the mid to late nineties. Following a brief spell in consultancy, he returned to the college to become a Project Manager and Student Placement Manager. It was during this time that Simon became one of the country’s leading experts on on-farm composting, using his expertise to successfully develop one of Harper Adams’s knowledge transfer projects.
In 2005 he took on a new challenge, building a thriving leisure and tourism business in rural Nottinghamshire with his wife and family. Simon has been a strong supporter of the Harper Adams Club since 2001, he is the current Club President having held the post previously from 2006 – 2008.
