Dr Ivan Grove is an Applied Crop Scientist whose research focuses on applied crop science which focuses on plant responses to abiotic and biotic stresses. This work includes the scientific understanding of plant and soil water interactions/management and also aspects of management of plant parasitic nematodes. The overall objective of his work is maintaining or improving the world’s crop production and this is now further aided by the growing inclusion of precision farming tools such as remote sensing and aerial imagery in his work.
