Joined Harper in January 2000 as the Assistant Domestic Services Manager after working in Ireland for 10yrs as a Manager on a Golf and Leisure Complex. Promoted to Domestic Services Manager in 2003 after the previous Manager left to relocate and run their own business.
The Department changed its name in 2019 to Housekeeping/Laundry Department.
The Housekeeping/Laundry Department is responsible for cleaning and laundering services throughout the University. The department comprises of the Manager, 2 x Office Assistants, 4 x Cleaning Supervisors supported by 2 x Team Leaders (AM & PM) and 64 x Housekeeping Assistants, working various shift patterns Monday to Friday between 4am to 6.30pm. The Laundry is staffed by 1 x Supervisor, 1 x Team Leader plus 10 x Laundry/Housekeeping Assistants working 8am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 3.30pm on a Friday.
The Housekeeping and Laundry Department are located at the exit of the staff and visitors carpark opposite the Regional Food Academy.
