Mother Hall
The dining hall, to your right, is where
students’ main meals are served during
the week. Non-catered students and staff
can also purchase meals here. People
visiting the campus for conferences and
short courses also eat here and in a smaller
dining room behind it. The Queen Mother
Hall, upstairs, seats 400 and is ideal for
presentations and formal dinners. You can

Faccenda Student Service centre.
The three-storey Faccenda building
is a student hub. The ground floor has
a reception for general enquiries,
convenience shop, computer lounge,
seminar rooms and the popular Graze
Café, serving hot and cold food and
drinks. The upper floors are home to a
number of classrooms, Student Services,
the Students Union, student post room, the
Careers and Placement teams, Learner
Support, International Student Support,
the Assignment Office, and Registry/
Admissions. The building was part-funded
by Faccenda, one of the UK’s largest food

the stairs to the right of the lift.
A fitness suite with sprung floor is situated
at the bottom of the stairs. Through the
grey door you will find the entrance to the
heated outdoor swimming pool on the
right, and the large sports hall to your left.
If you walk along the corridor and through
the door you will find our multi-gym and
squash courts. Behind this building can be
found several rugby/football pitches, a
multi-use games area*, and the newest of
our self-catered halls of residence*.
