This former library building is now home to
science laboratories and teaching facilities
including a number of classrooms and a
150-seater lecture theatre.
From the entrance foyer walk
past the Bronze Age log boat
and look through the doors to the
laboratories.

LABORATORIES
Access to the laboratory complex
is restricted. If you would like to
arrange a tour please contact
Reception (01952 820280) and ask
for the Laboratories department.
Science underpins the majority of
courses at Harper Adams. Six well-
equipped teaching laboratories support
undergraduate classes in applied biology,
microbiology, nutrition, crop protection,
soils and molecular biology. Additional
research laboratories supporting both
undergraduate and postgraduate
work include laboratories dedicated to
molecular diagnostics, applied research
and microbiology research. A team of well
qualified technicians support learning.

doors under the large TV screen
and the next set of doors, which will
lead to the:
ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT
Access to the Engineering
Department is restricted. Please
do not enter any buildings or
touch any machinery. High visibility
clothing must be worn around
these facilities. If you would like
to arrange a tour please contact

for the Engineering department.
ENGINEERING SOIL HALL
(no entry)
This unique covered soil hall is to your right
as you exit the Foulkes Crowther Building.
It provides an excellent facility for carrying
