Integrating botanical biopesticides and macro biological controls for improved management of pests of protected pepper crops

Abstract

This PhD aims to improve integration and efficacy of biopesticides and biological controls used to control pests of protected pepper crops. The initial focus of this work will be to screen a range of botanical biopesticides for efficacy against key pest species, including peach-potato aphid, melon and cotton aphid and the potato aphid.
