New library ways

Summer vacation update

The  library is now  open for Click and Sit and Click and Collect on

  • Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 5.00pm

You may now book a seat for 6 hours a day.

On Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 17:00, our remote support services are operating. You can contact us via LiveChat on the library homepage; you can email us at libhelp@harper-adams.ac.uk or you can chat to us on Teams. You can also book a one to one appointment with a librarian to help with research and referencing queries.

For those of you newly back on campus: Welcome back!

There have been some changes to the Library to help keep people safe.View the Student Union guide to using the Library For the moment you will be unable to just walk in to use the Library so we have set up new services to help you still do the things you need to do. We will constantly review these; everyone is dealing with a lot of unknowns at the moment. If you have suggestions for how we can improve services while maintaining safety please contact us on libhelp@harper-adams.ac.uk or chat with us by clicking the tab on the library homepage

Don't forget your ID Card

You will need your ID card to be able to swipe into the Library at all times. This is essential as we are obliged to carry out Track and Trace.

Click and Collect

Due to the pandemic we are temporarily forced to use a Click and Collect system for print books. Request the books you want on HOLLY, and  you will get an email letting you know when you can come and pick them up.

Returning books

We will do this for you. Just put them in the black book returns bin in the library lobby which is open 24 hours a day. Check your account the next day to see that they have been returned.

Click and Sit

Despite social distancing requirements we have made over 100 study spaces available in the Library. You need to book in advance if you want to use one. Try out the Click and Sit system which sits allows you to book for 6 hours a day.
