There are two self service machines located on the group floor of the library. These machines can be used to issue books and renew loans.
Note: the self-service machines close 10 minutes before library closing.
The library is a shared space, so please respect other library users. We have very few rules in the library.

There is a large number of study desks located throughout the library, providing quiet study areas. Report a noise issue?
There are a variety of study rooms in the library including 7 bookable group study rooms and two silent study rooms.
There are six lockers located near the main stairs on the ground floor that can be booked for the day. Ask at the Welcome Hub for further information.
The librarians on the enquiry desk, located on the first floor, can help you with all manner of enquiries including finding journal articles, electronic information and referencing.
IS Service Desk
The IS Service Desk, located on the first floor, provides advice and support with all IT and Audio-Visual (AV) related issues.
Free WiFi is available in the library. Visitors should ask at the IT Service Desk how to connect to the wireless network. All students are provided with details of how to connect to the wired and wireless networks on arrival at the university.
Open access computers
There are a large number of open access computers located on the first floor.
24hr computer room
A 24 hour function room is available in the Weston Building.
