Register with a local doctor

Linden Hall Surgery is based in the near-by town of Newport. You will be able to register with the surgery on registration day at the beginning of the academic year. Prescriptions can also be collected here. During university holidays you can be seen by your home doctor as a temporary resident.

University surgery

A doctor from Linden Hall holds appointments on campus (C-Block) between 12 and 1 Monday to Friday during term time. A nurse is also available 2 - 5 every Wednesday afternoon.

NHS 111

You should use the NHS 111 service if you urgently need medical help or advice but it's not a life-threatening situation.

  • you think you need to go to A&E or need another NHS urgent care service
