BPC/Kelly's Turkeys scholar: Callum Norman
Posted 18 February 2016
Callum Norman, an Agriculture with Crop Management degree student, has been awarded the Kelly’s Turkeys scholarship at Harper Adams University.
Callum, 19, from Bradwell, Essex, said: “I am very thrilled and excited to have the opportunity to work for Kelly’s Turkeys for my placement year.
“It will involve a range of different opportunities, such as getting involved with the breeding and genetics of the turkeys; helping to look after the animals. I’m looking forward to the opportunity of being involved from the beginning of the production cycle and experiencing this particularly unique free-range aspect of turkey production for solely Christmas sales.”
Callum hasn’t decided on a clear career path yet, but he would enjoy working in the poultry sector.
