The Graduate Diploma in Agronomy with Environmental Management is awarded on successful completion of the following existing modules:
- BASIS Certificate in Crop Protection (30 credits)
- FACTS (15 credits)
- Soil and Water Management (15 credits)
- Plant Protection Award (15 credits)
- Conservation Management or BETA (15 credits)
- Advanced Crop or Nutrient Management Module (x2) (30 credits)
How can you acheive the Graduate Diploma?
Example Student A
- All exams taken post November 2008
Result: Automatically qualify.
Example Student B
- Three or more courses taken post November 2008
- All other exams taken within seven years
Result: Provide evidence of recent CPD for exams taken pre November 2008.
Example Student C
- Three or more courses taken post November 2008
- Some other exams taken over seven years ago
Result: Experienced Practioner Route Module*
Example Student D
- Less than three exams taken post November 2008
Result: Experienced Practioner Route Module*
*Experienced Practitioner Route Module - requires completion of an assessment including evidence of CPD, a short essay & viva voce.
