How much will university cost?

Fees for full-time UK and Irish national undergraduate students* starting at Harper Adams University in 2024/25 are:

• All courses: £9,250^
• Placement year: £1,850

Fees for full-time UK and Irish national undergraduate students* starting at Harper Adams University in 2025/26 are:

• All courses: £9,535^^
• Placement year: £1,905

You will not have to pay any university fees before you begin university, or while you are studying if you take out a Tuition Fee Loan to cover these costs. Taking out a student Tuition Fee Loan means that fees are paid directly to the university on your behalf.

* students from the UK, Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands

^ for students enrolling on our  BSc(Hons) Veterinary Bioscience (accelerated programme) for 2024/5, the fees are £11,100 per year.

^^ for students enrolling on our  BSc(Hons) Veterinary Bioscience (accelerated programme) for 2025/6, the fees are £11,440 per year.

Please note: The fees stated on this page apply for new entrants.  The University reserves the right to increase fees each subsequent year for new and continuing students.  Please look at our Fees and Charges Brochure for the relevant year of study.

Students on full-time undergraduate courses who are classed as EU, EEA or Swiss nationals / International for the academic year 2025/26 will pay:

• All courses: £16,500^
• Placement year: £3,700

^ for EU/EEA/Swiss national/International (overseas) students enrolling on our  BSc(Hons) Veterinary Bioscience (accelerated programme) for 2025/6, the fees are £19,000 per year.

International students can apply for the Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarships 2025. You do not have to apply - if you are eligible, you will be automatically considered. 

Successful undergraduate students will receive a £3,000 tuition fee reduction. 
Successful postgraduate students will receive a £5,000 tuition fee reduction. 

Additionally, if full payment for the academic year is made in advance of your arrival, you will receive a 5% discount on your tuition fees.

Students who defer entry will pay the tuition fees applicable to the academic year they begin studying with us.

In addition to the published university fees, students should also bear in mind that there may be additional costs which they need to consider as part of their course of study, including costs ordinarily expected as part of Higher Education study, such as stationery and core textbooks.

Due to the nature of specific Harper Adams University courses, students should also expect the course specific costs detailed in the Fees and Charges Brochure 2025/26.

The cost of accommodation varies depending on the type of accommodation that is chosen, and currently ranges from £3,405 to £7,581 alongside a refundable £300 deposit. Payments for accommodation are split throughout the year to help students budget for their outgoings.
