Harper Adams was founded because of the generosity of our namesake, Thomas Harper Adams. Ever since then, we’ve benefited from the generosity of local people, industry, staff and former students just like you.

Support from alumni helps the next leaders and innovators of the land-based industries to take on some of the biggest challenges that the world is facing right now.

There are many ways you can give something back to Harper Adams — you can donate your time and expertise as a guest speaker, you can offer a placement in your workplace, provide opportunities for field trips, or you can donate to the Harper Adams Club scholarship fund.

However you choose to help, you can be sure that your generosity will be appreciated. It’ll be put to good use, helping the next generation of students and graduates.

Guest speaking

Through Harper Forum — a student-led group that organises guest lectures — you can share your experiences with current students as a guest speaker. It’s a great opportunity to talk with current students, as well as a chance to see what’s changed on campus since you were last here. Become an external professional advisor

With your experience and expertise, you can help our courses to stay relevant and students to do more. As a professional advisor, you’ll work closely with course teams and talk with students to ensure that what we’re teaching really matches the needs of the industry. Offer a placement

With almost all of our undergraduate courses including a 12-month placement, taking on a placement student in your business can make a real difference to current students. Not only that, but you’ll benefit from having someone who’s enthusiastic, full of fresh ideas, and well trained to work alongside you. Make a donation

Thanks to the generosity of alumni just like you, the Harper Adams Club scholarship fund has awarded more than £70,000 to over 50 students.
