Harper Adams University launches Scholarship to support local students

The Pilgrim's Europe Pig Scholarship is open to all 2nd year BSc and 1st year FdSc students at Harper Adams University who have an ambition to follow a career in pig production, animal science or the meat industry. This is an exciting opportunity open to UK residents only.
The successful scholar will need to hold a full UK drivers licence.
If awarded, the successful recipient will receive:
A condition of your scholarship is that you undertake your placement year with the sponsoring firm.
A placement at Pilgrim's Europe must be relevant to your course area. Please consult your Placement Manager for guidance.
This is a competitive award which will be evaluated on merit of the submitted application, academic achievements to date and interview. The decision of the Pilgrim's Europe Pig Scholarship Panel is FINAL.
As the Pilgrim's Europe Pig Scholarship includes a placement you must submit your application via the Student Dashboard. Paper copies will not be accepted.
Please note: you may ONLY apply for a maximum of 3 placement based scholarships.
Deadline for Submission of Application: 12 noon, 17 November 2025
The award will be paid in two equal parts; half to be paid in February 2026 and the remaining balance in May 2026.
