The Jerman Scholarship is open to all Year 2 BSc/BEng/MEng, Year 4 BSc/BEng/MEng or Final Year FdSc students enrolled in full-time education at Harper Adams University. In memory of Mr and Mrs Jerman, Welsh students are strongly encouraged to apply; however, this scholarship is not exclusive and all eligible students considering a career in the rural community are welcome to apply.
Preference may also be given to students at time of interview who are not in receipt of any other award.
The successful scholarship recipient(s) will each receive a one-off payment of up to £1,500.
The award will be paid in two equal parts; half to be paid in February 2026 and the balance in May 2026.
This is a competitive award, evaluated on the merit of the submitted application, academic achievements to date and interview.
The decision of the Jerman Scholarship Panel is FINAL.
