The opportunity is open to all 2nd & final year BSc students enrolled on a full-time Land and Property Management course, Agriculture with Farm Business Management or Environmental Land Management at Harper Adams University. There will be no interviews for this scholarship and a decision will be made by the sponsor based on the submitted application, to include the answer to the following question, set by Loxley Solicitors.
In a document of no more than two A4 pages, give your answer to the following question:
“Tenant farmers holding tenancies pursuant to the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 or the Agricultural Tenancies Act 1995 face a disadvantage, when compared to freehold owners, in their ability to benefit from farm diversification and also Environmental Land Management Schemes.’ Discuss the veracity or otherwise of this statement.”
