Norfolk FWAG Scholarship (with one year work placement)

Norfolk FWAG is the Farming & Wildlife Advisory Group for Norfolk

The Norfolk FWAG Scholarship is open to all 2nd year BSc students at Harper Adams University who are looking for a career in the farming and wildlife advisory sector. 

Please note:  a  placement year with Norfolk FWAG must be suitable for your course area.   Should you require further clarification please discuss with your Placement Manager.

The Scholarship

If awarded the successful recipient will receive:

  • A significant contribution towards their education of £4,500
  • Employment with Norfolk FWAG during their placement year
  • Subject to a review at the end of placement with Norfolk FWAG there may be an opportunity of further
    funding in the scholar’s final academic year

The award will be paid in two equal parts; half to be paid in February 2023 and the remaining balance in May

A condition of your scholarship is that you undertake your placement year with Norfolk FWAG.

This is a competitive award which will be evaluated on merit of the submitted application, academic achievements to date and interview. The decision of the Norfolk FWAG Scholarship panel is FINAL.

Deadline for Submission of Application: 12pm Noon Monday 21 November 2022

The Norfolk FWAG Scholarship includes a placement, therefore you must submit your application via the Student Dashboard placement pages.  Paper copies will not be accepted.

Please note: you may only apply for a maximum of three placement based scholarships.
