EC Drummond Scholarship (includes one year work placement)

The EC Drummond Scholarship is open to all 2nd year BSc and 1st year FdSc students studying at Harper Adams University, who are interested in a career in Poultry.  A placement year with EC Drummond must be suitable for your course area. 

The Scholarship

 If awarded the successful recipient will receive:

• A significant contribution towards their education of £4,500
• Employment with EC Drummond during their placement year
• Subject to a review at the end of placement with EC Drummond there may be an opportunity of further funding in the scholar’s final academic year

The award will be paid in two equal parts; half to be paid in February 2026 and the remaining balance in May 2026.

A condition of the scholarship is that the placement year must be undertaken with EC Drummond

This is a competitive award and will be evaluated on the merit of the submitted application, academic achievement to date and interview.

Deadline for Submission of Application: 12pm Noon Monday 17 November 2025

The EC Drummond Scholarship includes a placement, therefore you must submit your application via the Student Dashboard placement pages.  

Please note: you may only apply for a maximum of three placement based scholarships.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to interview with EC Drummond between Wednesday 19th November and Wednesday 3rd December 2025.
