The George Crawford Leg Up Award, donated by the Eileen Scott Foundation, aims to give young people "a leg up" in the world, and is offered to students applying to commence studies at Harper Adams University in memory of agriculture student George Crawford.
The George Crawford Leg Up Award, donated by the Eileen Scott Foundation, is open to students with a confirmed offer to study a full-time 4 year BSc/BEng course at Harper Adams University (excluding Vet School and Quad courses) commencing in October 2026:
Applicants must be able to demonstrate a genuine financial need and how they will benefit.
If awarded, the successful recipient(s) will receive an award of £2,500 to assist with the cost of living as follows: £1,000 in Year 1, £500 in Year 2, £500 in Year 3 and £500 in Year 4.
