    How much will university cost?

    University fees

    Please note:  The fees stated on this page apply for new entrants.  The University reserves the right to increase fees each subsequent year for new and continuing students.  Please take a look at our Fees and Charges Brochure for the relevant year of study.

    Fees for full-time UK and Irish national undergraduate students* starting at Harper Adams University in 2023/24 are:

    • All courses: £9,250
    • Placement year: £1,850

    You will not have to pay any university fees before you begin university, or while you are studying if you take out a Tuition Fee Loan to cover these costs. Taking out a student Tuition Fee Loan means that fees are paid directly to the university on your behalf.

    * students from the UK, Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands

    EU/EEA/Swiss national fees

    Students on full-time undergraduate courses who are classed as EU, EEA or Swiss nationals for the academic year 2023/24 will pay:

    • All courses: £13,250
    • Placement year: £3,500

    International (overseas) fees

    Students on full-time undergraduate courses who are classed as overseas for tuition fee purposes for the academic year 2023/24 will pay:

    • All courses: £13,250
    • Placement year: £3,500

    Deferred entry

    Students who defer entry will pay the tuition fees applicable to the academic year they begin studying with us.

    Other course specific costs

    In addition to the published university fees, students should also bear in mind that there may be additional costs which they need to consider as part of their course of study, including costs ordinarily expected as part of Higher Education study, such as stationery and core text books.

    Due to the nature of specific Harper Adams University courses, students should also expect the course specific costs detailed in the Student Fees and Charges 2023/24 (harper-adams.ac.uk).
