Freya Spafford, BSc (Hons) Geography and Environmental Management student, has received a Lord Leverhulme Charitable Trust Scholarship at Harper Adams University.
Freya, 20, from Bridgnorth, Shropshire, said: “I’d like to thank Lord Leverhulme for their generous contributions to my studies. I’m extremely grateful for their support and for making my aspirations more attainable.
“The scholarship will help me to potentially complete a year studying renewable energy abroad in Europe.
“During my time at Harper, I’ve been elected course representative twice in a row and been a successful ambassador for the University when representing my course.
“After Harper I hope to work with renewable energy development in third world and rural locations consulting farmers on how they could be more sustainable.”
