The Guardian: The rise of the robot farmer

"In Britain, a lot of the ideas behind robotic farming have emerged from Harper Adams University, a big education and research campus on the edge of Newport, in Shropshire. I drive there on a baking-hot Wednesday to meet Prof Simon Blackmore, the 64-year-old pioneer of “precision farming” who has a stake in the Small Robot Company, and is hailed by Scott-Robinson and his colleagues as a visionary."
