Matthew Rollason, from Lancashire, graduated in 2018 after completing a degree in agriculture with animal science. He is now working as a graduate trainee at Dunbia.
The runner up of the British Farming award's agricultural student of the year has had results from his honors research project published. The Hereford Cattle Society published Matthew's findings on estimated breeding values of Hereford cattle in their 2019 breed journal.
Matthew established his own herd of pedigree polled Hereford cattle in 2018.
