The Big Bang UK Young Scientists & Engineers Fair is the largest celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) for young people in the UK. It took place at the NEC in Birmingham from the 13th to 16th March. The event inspired, engaged and informed over 80,000 people, including more than 62,000 young people, 4,500 teachers and almost 8,000 parents.
Staff from Harper Adams attended including Graham Higginson, Dr Heather Campbell and Professor Simon Leather. A number of our MSc Entomology students were on hand at the Royal Entomology Society's stand alongside Harper's.
