Whether you're catered or self-catered, no one can deny the catering department at Harper does pretty good food. From pulled pork baps to fish and chips on Friday, they make an effort to accommodate your dietary requirements. But what about shopping and take aways?
Despite its rural location, Harper has plenty of supermarkets within easy reach. Here are just a few: Donnington 24hr Asda (10 minutes drive), Telford 24hr Asda (20 minutes drive), Stafford Tesco (20 minutes drive), Newport Aldi (5 minutes drive), Newport Lidl (5 minutes drive) and Newport Waitrose (5 minutes drive).
As for takeaways, there are plenty in the local and surrounding area, but here are the top five recommended by Harper students, all of which are in Newport and deliver on campus (except for Wan Loi).
Guneros (Pizzas, burgers, kebabs etc.)
Subway
Masala (Indian)
Rajas (Pizzas, burgers, kebabs, etc.)
Wan Loi (Chinese)
