The Extra Mile Award, now in its fourth year, was awarded to Emily Jones last week, a second year studying Agri-Business. Kindly sponsored by the AF Group this award recognises students who commit themselves to getting the most out of their time at the University and helping to improve things for other students too. The AF Group summarised their decision noting
"Emily was a unanimous choice for the Extra Mile Award. She has shown tremendous diligence, aptitude and hard-work in her time at Harper Adams. Her role as Harper Forum Chairman has seen her extend herself for the benefit of her fellow students, ensuring they are well-placed for life after Harper. As a values-driven organisation, we recognise the impact such altruism can have and are proud to award Emily this year’s award."
