2019 Aspire Prize for Personal Development winner: Clover Crosse

    22 May 2019

Clover’s role at Daylesford was mainly assistant stockperson with occasional involvement with the sheep enterprise.

The knowledge she gained from the role was invaluable and she thoroughly enjoyed working with the pedigree Angus and South Devon’s. The impressive infrastructure at the farm made work efficient and enjoyable. Attention to detail was a particular focus for Clover, FdSc Agriculture with Mechanisation, and she liked the challenge of working to the highest possible standards.

Clover said: “I really enjoyed learning new personal skills while on placement that helped me work with the new people I met. It was a really positive experience for me. After University I’ll be going to an arable farm to work as an arable assistant doing combining, spraying and all kinds of things. I can’t wait.”
