Bryony Ennis, BSc (Hons) Agriculture with Animal Science, has been awarded with the Kildare Charitable Trust Scholarship. Bryony, 23, has always been passionate about the agricultural industry despite not coming from a farming background.
Bryony acknowledges the impact the scholarship will have on her studies: "I am extremely grateful to the Kildare Trust for their generosity in supporting my studies, and thankful for being given the opportunity. Receipt of this scholarship will enable me to further pursue my interests into animal production and the use of technology in agriculture."
Bryony has also commented on her desire to continually improve her skills and knowledge outside of her academic life. She said: "Throughout my time at Harper Adams, I have also strived to undertake as many opportunities as I can, including working across the sector on arable, fresh produce, dairy, beef and sheep farms. I have an interest in animal production, and the use of technology particularly in the livestock sector; and aspire to be able to take full advantage of my existing knowledge into these areas in my future work."
