On Saturday the 4th of May Harper hosted it's second annual Field to Fork Festival, our very own country fair! The goal of this event is to let people see the process of food production, starting at the farm and ending on the plate, with plenty of activities for all the family to enjoy!
Throughout the day there are various interactive activities such as seeing the farm in action, holding various animals courtesy of the Exotic Zoo, watching live music, and tasting different foods. In addition to this, the farmer's market features local produce from the Shropshire area like cheeses, baked goods and a wide selection of ciders!
Students are welcome to enjoy the festival or help to support it by working as a student ambassador, running activities and assisting the public to allow swift running of the day whilst also experiencing the festival. This year proved to be another huge success, which we hope we can keep up for the years to come!
