Harper Adams University hosted a workshop on Agri-Tech Economics, the first event held by the Global Institute of Agri-Tech Economics (GIATE) which is led by the university’s Chair of Agri-tech Economics, Professor James Lowenberg-DeBoer, and Chair in Agri-Tech Economic Modelling, Professor Karl Behrendt.
The workshop brought together world leading experts and researchers at the forefront of the field for a two day knowledge sharing event.
As well as the series of talks, presentations and breakout sessions the attendees also receieved a tour of the Harper Adams Univeristy Hands Free Hectare & Farm facilities. It was fantastic to hear that so many who attended learnt a lot but also made valuable connections in the field.
